Review Extinct Soul

Oh my goodness, "Extinct Soul" was such a fun ride! I absolutely devoured this book. From the very first page, I was completely hooked by Adia's story. Her vulnerability, mixed with her sassy spirit, made her instantly relatable. The way the author captured her struggles – both past and present – felt incredibly genuine and touching. Witnessing her journey of healing and self-discovery was truly rewarding.

The meet-cute with Miles? Let's just say it was epic! Falling into the lap of your teenage crush who also happens to be a rock god? That's a plot twist I didn't see coming, but I loved it. Miles, despite being a rockstar, was surprisingly grounded and sweet. He wasn't your typical cliché; he was thoughtful, determined, and utterly swoon-worthy. The age gap was handled with sensitivity and maturity, never feeling forced or awkward. Their chemistry was electric, crackling off the pages, and their interactions were some of my favorite parts of the story. The way he pursued her, with respect and understanding, was incredibly refreshing.

I particularly enjoyed the way the story unfolded. It wasn't just a whirlwind romance; it explored the complexities of Adia's past and her journey to overcome her insecurities. The incorporation of her bucket list added another layer of depth, showcasing her personal growth and transformation. The pacing was perfect; it kept me engaged without feeling rushed. The emotional beats were well-placed, causing my heart to flutter in one moment and then ache in another. There were moments of genuine laughter and heartwarming scenes that balanced out the more intense and emotional parts of the story.

While the romance was undoubtedly central, the story also explored themes of self-acceptance, healing from past trauma, and the courage to embrace happiness. It's a feel-good story that left me smiling, satisfied, and craving more from Whitnay Edes. I honestly couldn't put it down and I found myself eagerly anticipating every new chapter. Seriously, if you're looking for a lighthearted yet emotionally resonant read with a captivating romance at its heart, "Extinct Soul" is an absolute must-read. Five stars from me! I’m already looking forward to seeing what she writes next!
